Didi Not Afraid

Recently, Small M had croup in the middle of the night. If you do not know what is croup, it is a virul infection of the upper respiratory system that cause inflammation, and usually attacked in the middle of the night. How do you know it is croup? The cough the child has would sound like seal barking.

Anyway, Small M has breathing difficulty at the time and seems like going to throw up. I ran downstair to such for inhaler. When I was back to the room, he had vommitted on the bed. Seeing me holding the inhaler, he started to cry. (He has alway beem afraid of the inhaler and we need to hold him down to use it).

But this time while crying, he kept on mumbling 'Didi not afraid. Didi not afraid...' over and over again. It was more like telling himself not to be afraid.
It was only after I finished the inhaling process, he stopped crying and told me more confidently, 'Didi not afraid'
