Big M and Small M Birthday

Mummy monster forgotten to post the birthday of the two monsters. Their birthdays celebration was on 30 October 2010. Pai seh.... :) Forgotten hehehe...

I bought two cakes from Tong Kee (if I remember correctly), Blackforest and Fortune basket. Averall the cakes were fresh and wonderful, although Fortune Basket was a tag too sweet for my liking.





Haha! The two monster waited whole year for this. Now they would have to start counting down again...

Grand Pa Birthday

After the wonderful dinner, we went for karaoke with a private snooker table in the room. This was the first time Big M playing the real thing instead of video games...

Mommy Monster Birthday

Yes, it is me. the old mommy monster birthday! Here's my cake...

Death by Chocolate by Just Heavenly. (RM59.00 for 6-inch cake)



Their cakes are popular among bloggers and I have wanted to try it for a long time. This is one of their popular cakes. Very chocolaty and creamy. D0 I like the cake? It was too sweet! So, is it good? It was TOO SWEET! Would I recommend it? IT WAS TOO SWEET!

OK!OK! Maybe it was only me, maybe my taste bud is extremely sensitive to sugar. Here, my personal opinion: The cake was so sweet for me until it overwhelmed the uniqueness of the cake. A thick layer of ganache, abundance of chocolate coffee mousse and thin layers of chocolate sponge cake. I found it too aweet from the first bite. Subsequent bites increasing felt like eating sugar. Diabetes friends, be afraid... be very afraid... It would be Death by Sugar! Literally...

Oh yeah... my 2 monsters just love the cakes...They ate so much till constipated for the next two days...

Birthday

The first two powerpuff girls cakes were the Big M 5th birthday and Small M 2nd birthday cakes celebrated on the 25 October 2009. Thank you to all that came and celebrated with us. The 2 Ms have a fantastic day because of all of you!

And the Ultraman cake... that was the cake we bought for him to celebrate with his friends at his kindergarten on the 29 October 2009.

I asked him when he was back from school," Does the cake taste good?"

Big M: " Yes, very good"

Me: "You all manage to finish the cake?"

Big M: "No, since the cake is square, it can be cut to many pieces. I like round one more"

Me: "So what happen to the rest of the cake?"

Big M: "The teacher took it"

Me: ???!
